Creating & Collaborating Across Generations
Black Owned Brockton is a nonprofit working to strengthen Brockton’s economy by investing in entrepreneurs, artists, and local business owners. We support and promote businesses and artists in the city by providing access to resources, increasing visibility, and preserving culture. Through resources, training, and exposure, we help business owners grow and remain rooted in Brockton while fostering opportunities for those who have been historically excluded.
Our vision is a thriving local economy rooted in cultural preservation, visibility, ownership, equity, and long-term economic growth. By highlighting the importance of cultural heritage and local ownership, our programs connect residents to products, services, and stories that reflect who they are. This work strengthens the local economy, uplifts the community, and ensures that the richness of Brockton’s culture is celebrated and sustained for generations to come.
